Hi, I'm Emily!
I am a certified occupational therapist and the founder of ExplorABLE Travels.

My love for travel began with my experiences growing up in a military family, where moving frequently taught me how to adapt, learn, and embrace new cultures—a passion I carry today.

My experiences traveling and moving as a child fueled my love for travel and deepened my appreciation for the arts. No matter where I found myself, dance was a constant, a universal language that transcended borders and cultures. Ballet allowed me to connect with others through movement and storytelling. It eventually introduced me to the world of adaptive dance for children with Autism and Down syndrome—sparking my interest in occupational therapy.

My interest in occupational therapy grew as I earned my undergraduate degree in psychology while dancing with a local ballet company. After completing my degree, I decided to further my passion for helping others and pursue graduate school for Occupational Therapy. In 2020, amid the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, I earned my master's degree in occupational therapy and began working in inpatient rehab. My career has since been dedicated to empowering individuals to regain independence in meaningful activities. While treating, I witnessed firsthand how travel dreams can feel out of reach for those with functional limitations, but I’ve also experienced the joy of helping them adapt their plans to make those dreams a reality.

These experiences inspired me to create ExplorABLE Travels. My mission is to help everyone, regardless of ability level, explore and discover the world. Whether you’re seeking a standard trip or an accessible travel adventure, I’m here to help you craft a journey that’s uniquely yours.

With certifications from various suppliers and companies, I’m ready to support you on your next travel adventure!
